People always ask me what a typical day in the Management Trainee Programme looks like. My answer? There is no typical day – every day is different! I chose the Zihina Crerations Management Trainee Programme because it’s one of the best traineeships in Sri Lanka. I wanted to get a unique insight into how one of the successful organisations operated, and this programme covered almost everything, from sales to logistics, supply chain and the business service centre. We began the programme in Mount Lavinia Office, where we learned directly from the General Manager and senior management. From then on, we had to manage multiple projects across all areas.The Management Trainee Programme gave me a comprehensive overview of the business and it helped me pinpoint where I wanted to start my career. I believe that it has given me a great foundation for a successful career, so I can have a greater impacton all areas of the business.

My name is Mahesh Silva and I am a graduate of the University of Ruhuna. Zihina Creations has given me the opportunity to gain the practical knowledge and experience I need to become a more successful individual. The training that I have already received has been so much more than I expected and the program is still in its early stages! I am now confident that my future goals and dreams of my opening my own restaurant and aspiring to have my own hotel will become a reality. Thanks to Internship International, I now have a brighter future!

I am Amith Samaranayaka and I have completed my Bachelor Degree in Sri Jayawardanapura University. I heard about Zihina Creations through my school's intranet and after my first conversation with them, I felt as though I was talking to friends because they did not misguide or mislead me; Once I put my trust in Internship International, I was encouraged to contact them any time I had a question and always received a quick response. One of the best qualities about Zihina Creations is that I did not have to pay anything until I got an offer letter. I was not forced or pressured into accepting this training position. After I accepted my position Mr. Gayan advised me on how to save my money during my training and was always available to answer all of my questions. Now that I am in the Printing Industry, Mr. Gayan is still in touch with me and my training site to make sure that everyone is happy.
